Tom has been a patent assistant for over ten years, playing a significant support role in the prosecution of scores of U.S. and PCT patent applications. In addition to his experience with utility patents, he has special expertise with design patents. Prior to working in the IP field, Tom was a software test engineer, and a writer and editor for technology publications.
